Following a career as a commercial lawyer and business management academic, Alastair Stewart took up his lifelong passion for antiques and converted it into a full-time occupation. He is the founder of Widowsons and its Principal Associate. His expertise is wide-ranging but specialist areas include Scottish silver and jewellery, and late Victorian and Edwardian period objects.

Bill Handrahan is a Managing Associate of Widowsons. After a career in law enforcement and adult education, Bill has embarked on a second career dealing in antiques. A long time friend of Widowsons founder Alastair Stewart, he specialises in objects from both the Arts Nouveau and Deco periods, with a particular interest in 18th, 19th and 20th century furniture, ceramics and glass.
